Y aesu FT-1000D HF 200W, HF 10-160 Meter Transceiver with Desk and Hand Microphones, DVS-2, and Documentation. This FT-1000 has the “D” upgrades. I bought this used locally in 2002, and I’m not 100% certain whether the radio started it’s life as a “D” or was upgraded. The radio works fine and has a full 200 Watt output. I only use the radio occasionally, so I’d rather sell it than have it sit idle. It is a great DX rig with 2.4K SSB bandwidth, and for operating at 200 Watts without the need for an amp. All functions are working and it transmits and receives as it should. I have not adjusted or serviced the radio since purchasing it. It may need minor tweaking, tuning or adjustment to bring it to full factory specifications, but is fine as is. This workhorse is a solidly built and heavy contesting rig (51 pounds) designed for continuous use. The SSB transmit audio is a bit narrow at 2.4 kHz and would need some hardware mods for wider audio, but the audio sounds nice as is. Includes full documentation consisting of schematics, original operating manual and technical manual. TX and RX coverage is stock – There is no TX on the 60M band. Two receivers – True Dual receive. Analog filters with excellent specifications: XF-455-262-01, XF-110C, XF-455K-202-01, XF-8.2M-202-01a, and XF-8.2M-251. Case and front panel are in good condition (8 out of 10). There are several small scuffs and nicks at the top front and rear corners. Also, a few small dents in the rear panel from years of use. The display works fine and the plastic has a few minor scuffs with some internal dust. Tested prior to listing for: power output, display functions, auto-tuner operation, band coverage, and audio quality. Additional specifications are available on the Yaesu and other websites. Note: The MD100 works with the FT-1000 in “Thru” mode only since this radio does not provide 8VDC for the filter circuits. Yaesu DVS-2 Digital Memory Recorder. Records 2 eight second or 4 four second messages. Plugs directly into the DVS-2 port on the rear of the FT-1000D (Untested – never used). Original FT-1000 Operating Manual. Original FT-1000 Technical Supplement (Approx 1.5 inches thick) with full schematics, board layouts and parts lists for each module and circuit board. Offered as a package only.
