This is a relatively rare and late modified TS-950SDX, known to its cult following as the TS-950VMSDX. Modifications were done early this year at the famous Voodoo Labs. As each one of these was modified, some changes were made and the later the mod, the better. Almost anyone looking at this transceiver will know what the mods are but you can look them up at the Voodoo Labs website shown above. These radios have 50 vdc MOSFET finals and will do 150 watts of super clean high fidelity audio out. The finals were replaced during the modification process and numerous additional updates and tweaks were made in addition to the audio mods. Every aspect of this radio was inspected, checked, aligned and brought to spec or above. This radio simply produces the best audio of any analog ham transceiver. This radio is in excellent electrical condition, perfect working order and in very good physical condition with only a few scratches, the most visible of which is on the main tuning knob as shown in the pictures. I have the original manual, Voodoo Labs test and spec sheets, Voodoo Labs operational manual, everything there is except original boxes.
