The Repeater 50 watt is built from 2 units of System M230 radio. Equipped with the DB9 / RS-232 link connectors and a simple handmade COR. The pinout detail of DB9 will be supplied, so you can use another controller to replace the bundled COR. The radio has features: CTCSS / DCS encode/decode per channel, so the audio can be heard only when the matching CTCSS tone or DCS code signal is received. It is rejecting extra calling from other radios. You also still able to use these 2 radios separately when you need to use it standalone.
