Thank you for checking out my IC-7000! I’m a licensed amateur radio operator (KJ4IOI), but I’ve been inactive for about three years. I’ve turned this Icom on about three times, and only for brief 2m use. I traded a Yaesu for it with one of my ham radio buddies. He bought this Icom new and barely used it as well, as he is more of a Yaesu guy. So this thing has barely been used at all. I did not test it before listing it, so I’ll give you a week to make sure nothing’s wrong with it. The purple lighting in my photos (pictures are of the actual radio) is from a plant light on my desk – just in case you were curious. This radio is awesome, and it’s a shame for it to sit on my bookshelf not transmitting.
