The IC-7000, serial number 0502123, works well as a mobile or base station on amateur bands 1.8MHz through 70 cm (excluding 222 MHz band). Power output is 2 to 100 watts on HF and 6m, 50 watts maximum on 2 meters and 35 watts maximum on 430MHz. The radio has a built in RTTY receive decoder. The receive coverage is 30 kHz to 199.9 MHz and 400 to 470 MHz. More detailed specifications of the IC-7000 are available on the Internet. This IC-7000 is a stock radio with no mods. The radio was last used for several years as a 5 watt exciter for a 2 meter amplifier, and three times for portable operation on CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK31; performing on all modes flawlessly. Downsizing requires that it be passed on to a new owner. After purchasing the radio, the cooling fan operated intermittently and it was professionally serviced to replace the internal fan controller chip; a complete check of the radio was then done to make sure it operates within ICOM specs.
