This microprocessor based transceiver is entirely solid state and delivers 100 watts (80 watts on 10 meters). Broadbanded circuits eliminate the need to “tune” circuits within a band. Just turn the bandswitch and select the desired frequency. A crystal controlled timebase provides high accuracy on all bands without a calibrator. Microprocessor control of entire operation. Optical tuning encoder for smooth, linkage-free tuning with no backlash. Memory on each band Two sideband filters (one optional). Adjustable passband shift to help reduce adjacent frequency interference. A VSWR protected power amplifier Internal diagnostic capability. All assembly manuals, large fold outs, schematics and updates are included. I verified all printed circuit boards are there and in good shape. The packing looks like it has not been disturbed. The power supply is not included, (HWA-5400-1). This unit can be powered from any 13.8VDC, 20AMP supply. The high current connectors are supplied in the kit for building your own cable assembly that plugs into the back of the HW-5400.
