This rig has a pair of NOS RCA 6146A finals that easily generate 100 watts out to a 50-ohm dummy load- slightly less on the 15 and 10 meter bands. Audio on receive is good too. It does NOT have the optional CW filter. Several capacitors have been replaced throughout by a previous owner. Admittedly, the upper two 10-meter bands have been converted to 11-meters. The technician portion of the 10-meter band, 28.3 to 28.5 mHz, still works. I tested it on all bands both in receive and tune including the 11-meter bands. The pilot lamps over the s-meter and dial are new and bright. The power cord and the VFO shorting plug are original. Cosmetically, the bezel shows typical minor scratches; the cabinet has scuffs and minor scratches and scuffs. The side cover is original. The carrying handle is original and sturdy. The tuning knob is an upgrade as you would find on the 520S or 520SE. There is a top-to-bottom crack in the lens over the meter. It does not affect the function of the meter. There is no microphone nor manual included. Manuals can be downloaded from several sources for free, on-line.
