This is a Heathkit HW-8 QRP transceiver, in good working condition, and pretty good overall physical condition. A previous owner apparently did some silver spray painting in the vicinity of the transceiver, as there are small spots of silver on the case (as can be seen on the top cover and back views). The transceiver covers the lower 250 KHz of the 80, 40, 20, and 15 meter bands. Output power is about 2.1 watts on 80 meters, 2 watts on 40 meters, 1.6 watts on 20 meters, and 1.1 watts on 15 meters (measured into a dummy load). Receive sensitivity is better than 1 uV on all bands (tested with an HP 8648B signal generator). I don’t have a printed manual, but will include a CD with the manual in PDF format, and other info about improvements that can be made to the HW-8. Power cable is included.
