This is a rack mount with speaker made specifically for the YAESU FT-897 which can also be ordered to include an LDG or Yaesu FT30 tuner and can even have an optional 30amp supply. Please DO specify if you want the version of radio aperture only OR if you have the LDG tuner OR if you have the Yaesu tuner; the panel cutouts are different but the price is the same! Our power supply is smaller and cheaper than the factory supply. The supply is secured using 4 tray-mounted bolts. The front panel is 3U (5.25″) high by the EIA standard 19″ wide. RACK MOUNT for KENWOOD TS-2000 with speaker (or other 3U Kenwood) AND OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE (SEE THE DRAWING). This unit is all aluminum construction, the front panel is 1/8″ 3U (5.25″) high by standard 19 wide. The rack tray is. 090″ aluminum 16″ wide by 10.5 deep. This rack mount will work on several Kenwood radios, TS2000, TS570, TS599, R5000 and many older models from the 1980s and 1990s. TS440, TS450, TS690, TS790 and any other radio that requires a front panel radio cutout of 10.63″ wide and 3.82″ high (270mmx97mm). The speakers we use use are the same OEM as the MFJ, Kenwood & Icom with 5 watt peak audio, with a Mylar cone for long life and low distortion. Has a 6′ cable with a 1/8 audio plug that mates with most our radios. You can also order this as a special like the one shown in the diagram; we make them up for when you need a good mike clip too; please ASK! We also do custom work; give us a try!
