This TS-430S is in pretty rough shape. The cabinet has quite a few scuffs on it. The good news is that the front panel looks good and the display is in good shape. The radio isn’t working properly. Both the RX and TX are intermittent. The display will occasionally flash, and when this happens the TX drops significantly. The radio has several filters installed including an Inrad filter. I then decided to leave it installed but couldn’t remember where the cables went, so it is still unplugged. The bottom line is this… You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be! This transceiver (serial number 31000515) is in good cosmetic condition, but certainly not perfect as the cabinet has some scuffs and scratches on it. The display is in good condition. Operationally, every function we tested works well. It puts out about 95 watts. Eleven capacitors have been replaced on the carrier board (board is in great condition), and the radio also has the MARS modification done. Please note that no internal options are installed and no accessories (power cable, mic, etc) are included, except for the user manual. If you prefer one carrier over the other, please make that request when paying for the item. Rest assured, you’ll receive your item in excellent condition!
