If you see “10 meter radio” on a listing, it is not a CB. Is it peaked and tuned? All ham radios are “peaked” by the qualified engineers who design them. A radio hack without an engineering degree and radio design experience cannot improve on this, though they can alter the radio for higher output wattage. But this overdrives the transistors, causing distortion and overheating. Not a good thing to do. There is no additional tuning required. Why the ALL CAPS for mosfet? Because MOSFET is an acronym, and in English acronyms are spelled in all caps. MOSFET stands for Metal Oxide Field Effect Transistor. This is not a new technology.
