This KWM-2A, serial number 13511, is in amazing cosmetic condition. It’s literally just about perfect as I see no scuffs or scratches anywhere on it. The cabinet’s paint is original. Inside, it’s very clean and I see no signs of modification or tinkering of any kind. All capacitors under the chassis are original. All of the stock crystals are present. The unit does not have the plug-in relays or teflon wire. It operates well, but please keep in mind that this is a 50-60 year old piece of equipment and we have not done any sort of restoration. With that in mind, there’s always a chance there are some small quirks that need to be addressed… That’s just the nature of vintage electronics. It’s always a good idea to replace capacitors, check and replace tubes as needed, spray all controls with contact cleaner, perform a calibration/alignment to ensure it’s right on frequency, and address any other issues that we may have missed. If you’re not qualified to perform these tasks, we can give the name of qualified techs who specialize in Collins gear. A microphone and power supply are not included in the sale. Please check out other listings if you need those items, as we’ll have some available from the same estate. Rest assured, you’ll receive your item on time and in excellent condition! But is it worth it? WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SALE: You will only receive what is shown in the photographs. If you do not see it in the photos, it is likely not included in the sale. That includes manuals, packaging, power cords, accessories, and so on. ABOUT US: Our company, Ham & HiFi, is located in Sparks, NV. Almost everyone in the shop is a licensed ham operator, some of whom have been licensed for more than 50 years. The owner’s call is KG7LOV (good on QRZ). This item is in the category “Consumer Electronics\Radio Communication\Ham, Amateur Radio\Ham Radio Transceivers”. The seller is “hamandhifi” and is located in this country: US. This is an outstanding piece of Collins equipment. This HF-380 (serial number 932) is in fine cosmetic condition. There is some slight rubbing on the trim ring and one very small dent on the bottom (see photographs), but that’s about it. All hardware is original and present. The paint is in great shape and the display is bright. It’s loaded with every available option. It operates beautifully and puts out well over 100 watts. Every function we tested worked great. If you’re looking for an HF-380, you’ll have a hard time finding one nicer than this! Please note that a microphone is not included in the sale, nor is the manual.
