This FT-726R is in good cosmetic condition. The cabinet has a few scuffs and scratches, however the display is bright and it’s clean overall. No options (CTCSS unit, filters, satellite unit, etc) are included. The third module installed in the radio actually covers 10-meters! The radio has full power output on all bands and all features we tested seem operational. However, please note that you’ll need to replace the memory battery as it has gone bad, so you’ll likely want to replace that. The sale includes it’s original AC cord, however we did not get a microphone with the radio, so you’ll need to supply your own. Unfortunately, they did a horrible job packaging it and as a result it took a beating. The faceplate is bent inwards. Despite this, the display is OK and we believe all controls operate as they should. In addition to this damage, the 440 module broke loose and no longer operates. We’ve secured it inside the cabinet with bubblewrap to prevent it from shifting around, but you’ll want to take the bubblewrap out before using the radio. There are other small dings/dents in the radio’s cabinet and heatsink. The good news is that the 2-meter module seems to be working with full output. It is possible that there are other issues than those mentioned, but we just don’t have the time to to give this thing a complete going-through. Please note that no microphone is included. This radio I have used for weak signal work for many years. I removed the modules and listed them separate. I turned down the power on the HF module and used it to drive a Ukranian transverter on 220 mhz. I have up graded to a FT736R is only reason I sell. The radio has a blemish on the top of the bezel other wise is in good condition. The CTCSS encoder does not work so if your a RPTR jockey you will need to fix that. I only used for simplex and SSB/CW on 6 mtrs, 220 and 2MTRS. Includes mic, pwr cord and very clean manual. The models are adjustable from o watts to around 25 watts but are speced for 10 watts.
