IC-781 ICOM HF Transceiver. Nice Shape Operationally and Cosmetically. Display has been upgraded by ICOM to the newer LCD Version. This classic ICOM transceiver was one of ICOM’s entries into the “full featured” transceiver market. This IC-781 comes from a non- smoking friend’s estate. I have tried the filters and twin PBT and especially on cw they worked very well. The LCD display seems to be working fine. On transmit it is putting out the 150 watts (see photo/Wattmeter not included in sale) on all bands with about 10 watts less on 12 and 10 meters. RIT, keyer, etc all seem to be functioning properly. The AF gain was a little scratchy at first but seemed to clear up with operation. Cosmetically it is not perfect but still good and most surfaces that can be readily seen are good. The front panel is very good. The top cabinet panel is very good, the left side is good, there are scratches on the bottom of the cabinet, and the right side has a few scratches. I do not have the front panel rack handles. The free listing tool.
