This Yaesu FT-1000 Ham Radio Transceiver is in excellent condition. The radio has been in use within the past month so I know it at least transmits and receives. I have seen the radio in use however, the relative sadly has passed.

This is a late model and has had very little use, and it comes with stock microphone, VGS-1 internal voice keyer and original copy of instruction manual. It comes from the estate sale of Vinny Porcaro K3VJP (silent key). My call sign is KD3RF and you can verify my identity and Vinny’s on the QRZ website. After about a year, I’m finally ready to let it go. The KX3 is much more capable, but I have found myself only using the KX2 when going portable. KX3 –factory built, SN 5070. June 2016 I sent it back to Elecraft to check it out after three years of ownership to make sure all was working within spec. One of the photos in this ad is the report they sent back. It has been used maybe twice since that report and all is working well. I’ve looked over the KX3 and don’t see any scratches or other marks. ATU installed–the tuner for the KX line is fantastic. I’ve found very few antennas/wires that it could not tune. 2 meter internal board. KX3 Precision Iambic Keyer Paddle. This is a well equipped KX3 that should make someone very happy for a long time.
