After about a year, I’m finally ready to let it go. The KX3 is much more capable, but I have found myself only using the KX2 when going portable. KX3 –factory built, SN 5070. June 2016 I sent it back to Elecraft to check it out after three years of ownership to make sure all was working within spec. One of the photos in this ad is the report they sent back. It has been used maybe twice since that report and all is working well. I’ve looked over the KX3 and don’t see any scratches or other marks. ATU installed–the tuner for the KX line is fantastic. I’ve found very few antennas/wires that it could not tune. 2 meter internal board. KX3 Precision Iambic Keyer Paddle. This is a well equipped KX3 that should make someone very happy for a long time.
