Kenwood TS-940S Ham Radio HF Transceiver + Filters (looks and works great)

This Kenwood TS-940S (serial number 7090012) is in really nice cosmetic condition. All displays are bright and working well. The cabinet has just a few scuffs (see pictures), and I’d easily rate this one as an 9-out-of-10. It’s working well with full power output. The RX on FM seems a little weak, but otherwise it’s receiving well. The tuner is in good working order. The radio has the optional YG-455C1, YK-88C1, and YK-88A1 filters installed. The sale also includes a heavy-duty AC cable, but you’ll need to supply your own microphone. The bottom line is this… You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be! Kenwood TS-530SP Ham Radio HF Transceiver (looks great, 100+ watts out, RX weak)

This Kenwood transceiver is in fantastic condition overall. Cosmetically, it looks great with just a few small scratches and dings, most notably on one corner of which I’ve taken a close-up photograph. The display is nice and bright, and it’s very clean inside as well. The transceiver is transmitting with 100 watts (or slightly more) on all bands. The RX is weak and will need to be addressed. Lastly, the controls/switches are a little dirty and should be cleaned with electrical contact cleaner. The microphone is not a Kenwood mic, but works well with this radio. Please note that a manual is not included in the sale. The bottom line is this… You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be!
