It is capable of 99 channels is programmable with a RIB and cable with the appropriate software. Power output is somewhere between 70 and 110 watts output, most 100 watt plus. After 60 seconds of transmission, a tone will sound and the transmitter will stop, until the mic button is released and pushed again. Photo is of comparable radio. I did NOT retake photo, and the photo shows a squelch knob, but this control head does not have one. This radio has Scan, CTTS, mic, speaker and cables. NO Bracket for control head. I can not be sure I have brackets for speaker, but will look. I will include a control head but no squelch knob as I ran out of those. The squelch is adjustable inside, with a small potentiometer at the front, in the center, if ever needed adjustment. Reprogramming is NOT included at this price. 100+ watts will work plenty of DX and can work stations and repeaters many miles away. I have worked repeaters over 100 miles away and simplex mobiles over 30 miles away with similar radios. Unit can be placed back into Commercial service from 42-50 mhz.
