Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V (200W) HF Transceiver in very nice shape just back (serviced 1/16/2017) from Byron Campbell WA4GEG (the Yaesu FT-1000 guru) for complete checkup and some great mods installed! Comes with FT-1000MP (plain) box for the radio to protect it, the Original manual, Original Quick Menu sheet, Original hand Microphone, FP-29 power supply, and cables. Byron did the great LED backlight kit mod for instant on display and crisp lighting and also the G4HUP receiver IF tap kit installed. Face and cabinet of the Mark V and the power supply are in very nice shape, radio has some marks on front top edge and some light marks on top cab but looks very good overall and performs excellently. Drives the BIG amps real nice. I get great audio reports from Europe on it all the time. People that have them love them. Many contest stations love them. Very nice clean working FT-1000D up for sale. Has many of the mods done to it. Rcvr Mod, Keyclick and noiseblanker mod, Inrad roofing Filter Mod. Up to 200watts output. Also has BFP-1 bandpass filter installed in back. Two receivers built in and nice for chasing DX. Has issue with 15 meter and 17 meter band switch till its warms up for 5 mins. All other bands no problems. Someone might know what. Cause that on 15 and 17. Its no big deal for me since it works fine after warmed up. It hasn’t been doing it for the last few weeks while using it. I use it every week. Doesn’t happen all the time when you turn it on. Use it every week. Maybe work you on 40 meters with it sometime. If you want to hear it I can talk to you on 40 meters, I only have a 40 meter antenna up at this time.
