This FT-736R is in good cosmetic condition. The cabinet shows very little wear, however there are some scuffs on the bezel and the tuning knob has some paint flaking off (see pictures). Other than that, it looks good with a bright display. It has a number of options installed including the voice board, CTCSS board, and 600Hz CW filter. Also, it has the optional 50MHz and 1200MHz band modules installed! Everything on the radio works, except for the 430MHz module which isn’t transmitting properly. Regardless of mode, the output is hashed and erratic. The sale includes the original box (with foam inserts), original user manual, original MH-1 hand mic, and a thick AC cord. Yaesu FTV-901r Transverter With 2m and 6m Modules. I have tried to test this unit, but I was not able to see any power output on 2m. I did not test 6m. I was using the transverter port on my flex radio and had to manually key the ftv-901v with a jumper since it did not come with any cables. I was seeing input power on the meter, but did not see any output. It is in very nice cosmetic condition. Unfortunately, they did a horrible job packaging it and as a result it took a beating. The faceplate is bent inwards. Despite this, the display is OK and we believe all controls operate as they should. In addition to this damage, the 440 module broke loose and no longer operates. We’ve secured it inside the cabinet with bubblewrap to prevent it from shifting around, but you’ll want to take the bubblewrap out before using the radio. There are other small dings/dents in the radio’s cabinet and heatsink. The good news is that the 2-meter module seems to be working with full output. It is possible that there are other issues than those mentioned, but we just don’t have the time to to give this thing a complete going-through. Please note that no microphone is included.
