This is an outstanding piece of Collins equipment. This HF-380 (serial number 932) is in fine cosmetic condition. There is some slight rubbing on the trim ring and one very small dent on the bottom (see photographs), but that’s about it. All hardware is original and present. The paint is in great shape and the display is bright. It’s loaded with every available option. It operates beautifully and puts out well over 100 watts. Every function we tested worked great. If you’re looking for an HF-380, you’ll have a hard time finding one nicer than this! Please note that a microphone is not included in the sale, nor is the manual. Ensure the equipment will meet your needs. Ensure you know how to operate it. Ensure it will work with your existing equipment. It operates on 160M 10M (including 60M) , has two VFOs, Noise blanker, DSP and real time clock, CW spot feature, several digital filters! The radio is at the latest revision level. Based on several questions I received ; my advice is to search for the full manual on the Elecraft website. Filters are user defined. Then a short re-cal process takes place. Best tool for filter setup is to use Spectrogram (free version). On the website there are instructions for setting up both SSB and CW filters with Spectogram. The K2 was only offered as a kit. Assembly which included the soldering of all components takes an enormous amount of time. The manual outlines all the cal procedures you have to undergo. Please read the assembly manual. As much as I would like to sell this radio make sure you understand the calibration steps. The unit is fully operational now. No need for cal procedures but this radio may not be for you. Elecraft KX2 80-10M Ultra-Portable HF transceiver w/ All Options lots of extra’s. I bought it to supplement my KX3 and realized it just sat in the case unused most of the time. Includes KX2, ATU option, battery charger, battery pack, real-time clock module, KXPD2 precision keyer paddle, hand microphone, USB accessory cable, Elecraft-supplied Lowepro travel case. I was also intending to install the whole setup in a hard travel case (per information from K6ON – Bob) who designed the template shown in the yellow case. The extra hard case, LiPo batteries and charger, and metal template ran another couple hundred. Again, this setup is like new… Only used a few times in my office and never outdoors (shame on me). This is a real bargain and will be a great Christmas present for yourself!
