Offered for consideration is an Elecraft KPA500 – 500 watt solid state linear amplifier in mint condition. Each piece comes with its own cover, and the cables required to add it to a K3 station. Its just for the KPA500 amplifier. Very little use on air. Only a matter of hours over its life. I built this unit, I was an electronics technician, engineer, and bench tech for 20 years earlier in my career. Built many a Heathkit – this is more a modular built than component – it was built well. You’ll see in the pics, at 36 watts drive to the KPA 500 it was putting out 500 Watts! I do not have the original box, it will be packed well for safety. Comes with manuals, cover, and cables to add to a K3 station. It has a few light scratches on the top, but mostly mint. This listing is for an RL Drake TR-4C HF Ham Transceiver. This vacuum tube transceiver is one of the best of the tube radios and this one is quite late in the run. This has the front panel switch for the optional noise blanker (not included). It is easy to operate. Cosmetically this radio is truly museum quality. The original paint is virtually flawless. The chassis, well it is so clean you could eat from it. This is truly the nicest one I have seen since I saw one at the store back in the 1970’s. The serial number is 38862. It has LED illuminators for the S Meter, PTO and the red dot by the frequency readout dial. It has been stored under the beautiful Drake badged black felt covers, which I will offer to you after the sale as it is not included. It is tested, guaranteed working well, all bands, all modes, producing its specified 160+ watts output power. It requires an AC power supply (AC-3 or AC-4) but this is NOT included. I have one but it is nowhere in the league of this radio in terms of appearance. The supply looks great but the MS-4 is not so pretty as this radio. To be perfectly clear, I do want to sell in all countries where Ham Radio is legal. However, I will NOT, under any circumstances, violate any laws in order to do so. I do not sell “gifts” either.
