Heathkit HW-101 Transceiver Receives in transmits with good output power as seen in photos with MFJ want me to connect, full power on 80, 40, 20 and 15 m band is on the 10 m bands which there are four separate ones starting with 28 MHz to 29.5 the first two bands 28 and 28 five the output is less than on the other bands 60 to 70 W and then drops on the last ladt 10 m bands only putting out about 30 W, on the ladt 10 m band its around 20. Also, when you tuning the transceiver with a loading and final controls, you have to hold the inner knob while turning the final tends to move not a big deal. You just have to hold it so you’re tuning them separately. Otherwise it receives good and transmit good on all the other bands so you’re not receiving a dead radio side band sounds pretty good. Doesn’t Come with Power Supply You will need the power supply and the interface canle for the power supply. Also does not come with microphone or CW key. Heathkit SB-110A Six Meter Transceiver. Tranceiver is a nice physical condition as seen in the photos I do get reception as you can see the meter is reading with the calibrator on so it does receive the static coming out of the speaker the bank conditions have been dead on 6 m so I have not tried to receive any SSB signals but they receive seems fine with the calibration on and seems sensitive. This radio does not transmit not sure why but I’m sure that can be fixed by someone that has knowledge of this radio.

This Kenwood TS-790A is in relatively good cosmetic condition. There really aren? T many scuffs/scratches (a few on one side), but the sub-RX display is a little dim. Unfortunately, the radio has problems. On UHF, it’s receiving OK but only putting out about 12 watts. On VHF, the RX is pretty weak and we’re not getting any power out. Please note that no internal options are installed. The sale includes a DC power cable, but a microphone is not included. This FT-726R is in fair cosmetic condition. The cabinet has some scuffs and scratches, however the display is bright and it’s clean overall. No options (CTCSS unit, filters, satellite unit, etc) are included. The radio has full power output and all features we tested seem operational. However, please note that you’ll need to replace the memory battery as it has gone bad, so you’ll likely want to replace that. The sale includes it’s original AC cord, however we did not get a microphone with the radio, so you’ll need to supply your own. For some reason, the internal speaker isn’t working. However, if you use an external speaker (as we did during testing), it sounds great! This is really the only issues we found with the radio, and otherwise it appears to be ready to go! Unfortunately, they did a horrible job packaging it and as a result it took a beating. The faceplate is bent inwards. Despite this, the display is OK and we believe all controls operate as they should. In addition to this damage, the 440 module broke loose and no longer operates. We’ve secured it inside the cabinet with bubblewrap to prevent it from shifting around, but you’ll want to take the bubblewrap out before using the radio. There are other small dings/dents in the radio’s cabinet and heatsink. The good news is that the 2-meter module seems to be working with full output. It is possible that there are other issues than those mentioned, but we just don’t have the time to to give this thing a complete going-through. Please note that no microphone is included. The FT-102 is one of Yaesus all time finest hybrid radios. Three (3) 6146B tubes. Superb transmit and receive specifications. It has a high serial number 081 so it was late in production. Two weeks ago we replaced all 11 relays and cleaned the switches. The cabinet has a few small surface scratches. But overall in excellent condition for it’s age. The display, faceplate and knobs are all in excellent condition as well. All bands and modes transmit and receive extremely well. The SSB transmit audio is superb with awesome punch. FM works, however it seems to be off a little in frequency. Possibly the board needs to be aligned since it was an add-on. Additionally, the feet on the speaker are not the same height as those on the radio. It’s height does not affect functionality. The MFJ 989 3KW tuner is beautiful it will handle full legal limit. Roller Inductor, very solid made tuner. The MD-1c8 provides crystal clear audio and was designed for the Yaesu line of transceivers. Please review all images. THIS SALE IS FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS. SP-102 Matching High Fidelity External Speaker. MD-1c8 Yaesu Desktop Microphone. This is in beautiful condition. (NOTE: Mic Scan Buttons on MD-1 require FT-102 & FV102DM External VFO). MH5 F8 Hand Held Microphone. MFJ Versa Tuner V Model 989 3KW Roller Inductor Antenna Tuner. MFJ 814 Watt/SWR Meter 2KW. There are 11 relays on the FT-102. All 11 have been changed. (These five are most important and causes the majority of TX & RCV issues). This beautiful transceiver had the 11 meter modification. We left the switch mod in place, 27/29mhz but re-tuned the the transceiver back to 29MHz. 27MHz is available, but the radio is no longer tuned for that band. The mod significantly reduced the output on 24.5Mhz. The simple 11 meter modification is still switchable in/out. Nothing removed or damaged. This mod used the 29Mhz to 29.5Mhz position on the band switch. To avoid damaging the radio, the display modification for 27Mhz was never done. When 11 meter operation is switch enabled, the display still indicates 29-29.5. The actual frequency is 27Mhz to 27.5Mhz. We’ve taken the time to record the output on all band. We also have taken pictures. Which we will provide if requested. The radio was connected to the MFJ-267 Dummy-load/watt-meter and placed in tune. The following represents our findings. 1.8Mhz – 175 Watt. 3.5Mhz – 200 Watt. 7.0Mhz – 200 Watt. 10.0Mhz – 195 Watt. 14.0Mhz – 175 Watt. 18.0Mhz – 165 Watt. 21.0Mhz – 155 Watt. 24.5Mhz – 125 Watt. 28.0Mhz – 140 Watt. 28.5Mhz – 140 Watt. 29.0Mhz – 130 Watt. Bought in 2014 and was never mobile. Comes with the original mic, as well as the MH-89a8j DTMF mic. Also includes the box, manuals, circuit diagrams, CAT interface cable CT-62, and the ADMS-4B CD for advanced data management. There is a known issue with the FT-857D head unit where it has vertical lines in the display. I put the contrast very high and took a close up photo of the head unit showing this defect. It wasn’t worth it to me to have it done, so I didn’t do it. Comes from a pet-free, smoke-free home. I worked all states with this guy. Great little rig for my small shack.
