Collins KWM-2A Ham Radio Transceiver (SN 13511, collector quality cosmetics)

This KWM-2A, serial number 13511, is in amazing cosmetic condition. It’s literally just about perfect as I see no scuffs or scratches anywhere on it. The cabinet’s paint is original. Inside, it’s very clean and I see no signs of modification or tinkering of any kind. All capacitors under the chassis are original. All of the stock crystals are present. The unit does not have the plug-in relays or teflon wire. It operates well, but please keep in mind that this is a 50-60 year old piece of equipment and we have not done any sort of restoration. With that in mind, there’s always a chance there are some small quirks that need to be addressed… That’s just the nature of vintage electronics. It’s always a good idea to replace capacitors, check and replace tubes as needed, spray all controls with contact cleaner, perform a calibration/alignment to ensure it’s right on frequency, and address any other issues that we may have missed. If you’re not qualified to perform these tasks, we can give the name of qualified techs who specialize in Collins gear. A microphone and power supply are not included in the sale. Rockwell Collins HF-380 Transceiver SN 932 (full of options, collector quality)

This is an outstanding piece of Collins equipment. This HF-380 (serial number 932) is in fine cosmetic condition. There is some slight rubbing on the trim ring and one very small dent on the bottom (see photographs), but that’s about it. All hardware is original and present. The paint is in great shape and the display is bright. It’s loaded with every available option. It operates beautifully and puts out well over 100 watts. Every function we tested worked great. If you’re looking for an HF-380, you’ll have a hard time finding one nicer than this! Please note that a microphone is not included in the sale, nor is the manual. Ensure the equipment will meet your needs. Ensure you know how to operate it. Ensure it will work with your existing equipment. Icom IC-275A 2m All Mode Transceiver – Collectors Quality. Thinning out my Icom radio collection and time to pass this along to another VHF weak signal enthusiast. An excellent radio to add to someone’s Icom IC-x75 collection or use with a microwave transverter setup. The display is nice and bright. No major scuffs or scratches. The scarce and optional CR-64 TCXO, and the FL-83 narrow CW filter are installed. The original box, manual, and sales slick sheet are included. The original power cord is included. No microphone is included. Full power is a little more than 25W measured on a Bird wattmeter. All buttons have been checked and work as they should.
