BEAUTIFUL shape, perfect operating condition we have this Kenwood SM-230 band scope. Just taken out of operation due to an upcoming move from a fellow ham. No room for all this equipment. Here’s a Kenwood SM-220 station monitor with BS-8 panoramic adapter and a copy of both the owner’s manual and service manual. The last pics show it being tested, first with my TS-430S looking at the RF output while being modulated by voice, and lastly a signal from my sig gen at 455KHz to show the panoramic adapter working. This unit was originally designed to work with the TS-820 and 830S radios but it can monitor the RF output of basically any HF transceiver; just insert it in the RF out line. If you want to use the panoramic function, it has a phono connector on the back where you plug in the 455KHz IF signal from your radio and there it is! Just make sure you can access your radio’s IF! The scope has excellent intensity. Pic 8 shows the inside. Please note: I changed the original wimpy little plastic shaft couplers that, typically, were cracking around the set screws. The ones I installed are ceramic and metal heavy duty that should outlive the scope by a thousand years! That’s one of the original couplers laying on top of the metal box at the rear, just for comparison. Cosmetically, the cabinet shows some small wear spots some of which were touched up. Overall looks quite nice! Front panel is great! It may or may not work at all when you get it! This sale is for a new Icom IC-7600 transceiver that came to us a short while ago and is new in the box. It was powered on for about a half hour to verify the units receiving qualities. It offered excellent reception and demonstrated outstanding sensitivity. We did not test the transmit functions, but have no reason to believe that the unit is anything but in perfect operational condition. The transceiver comes with manual and other documentation as provided by Icom America, plus the DC power cord. In addition, we are including a couple of transceiver reviews plus a CD that contains a variety of documents such as reviews and the service manual for this unit. It would be easy to type a list of features for this receiver, but for many people who have already researched this unit, it would be unnecessary. For the rest of you, perhaps the best solution is to provide a couple of links to assist you. Here is a link to Icom where you may download and view the IC-7600 brochure which explains and highlights some of the features that Ham Radio enthusiasts love about this transceiver.
