If your looking at this listing you already know the value and rarity of the FT-102 Transceiver. One of Yaesus all time finest hybrid radios. Three (3) 6146B tubes. Two weeks ago we replaced 10 of the 11 relays and cleaned the switches. The display, faceplate and knobs are all in excellent condition for their age. The cabinet has some scratches and nicks. Mostly on the sides. Eceive and transmit tested on all bands. Please review all images. This sale is for the following items. Filter Installed XF-8.2HSN SSB 1.8Khz Narrow / CW 3.1Khz Wide. Filter Installed XF-8.2HS SSB 2.9Khz Wide. Filter Installed XF-8.2HC CW 600/1300 Hz. Filter Installed XF-455C CW 500/1000 Hz. SP-102 Matching High Fidelity Speaker. MD-1 Yaesu Desktop Microphone. (NOTE: Mic Scan Buttons on MD-1 require FT-102 & FV102DM External VFO). MH5 F8 Hand Held Microphone. (NOTE: Mic has a hairline crack in the back between the cord inlet and the model number tag). 3 spare GE 6146B tubes. There are 11 relays on the FT-102. 10 have been changed. (These five are most important and causes the majority of TX & RCV issues). (Cleaned, Not Changed) Meter functionality. We originally advertised this beautiful transceiver with the 11 meter modification. We have since removed the 11 meter mod. We found it significantly reduced the output only on 24.5Mhz. We’ve taken the time to record the output on all band. We also have taken pictures. Which we will provide if requested. The radio was connected to the MFJ-267 Dummy-load/watt-meter and placed in tune. The following represents our findings. 1.8Mhz – 160 Watt. 3.5Mhz – 200 Watt. 7.0Mhz – 200 Watt. 10Mhz – 175 Watt. 14Mhz – 175 Watt. 18Mhz – 175 Watt. 21Mhz – 160 Watt. 24.5Mhz – 150 Watt. 28Mhz – 130 Watt. 29Mhz – 115 Watt.
