I recuperate many radios And all sell in excellent condition with happy ebayers. The Ts 940 is excellent Radio with a huge history. ALL THE DEFECT IS REPAIR. The most important is the power supply unit. NEVER BE DANGER AGAIN after this changes. Kenwood TS-940S Ham Radio Transceiver with power cord and original mic. Rebuild complete cold solder point on boards and plugs. Replace bulb by chip LED, on Smeter and aux display. SWITCHING PSU industrial grade 28,5v 20 amp & 26 amp peak. AVR reform with Ic component. Change batteries on digital A & C for same type 3,2v but 560 mA soldering in the same position to original. Dimm function work correctly LED ON ALL THE DISPLAY’S. Clean inside & outside, calibrate with MARCONI MFR 2026 Generator as per service manual ts 940.132 Dbm in all frecuencies. Power output = 110 watts. Antenna tuner installed and lube complete. Turn at the correct position the RF and IF boards transistors 2sk125. Eliminate the slam effect on Smeter when turn off. All the mod’s by Kenwood bulletin. WIDE AUDIO reform on RX and TX. All functions work perfect. I do the renew complete. I will send on double boxes with all the care. ME IF YOU NEED MORE PICTURES DETALLE. All the units look in general complete original. This Kenwood TS-940S (serial number 7090012) is in really nice cosmetic condition. All displays are bright and working well. The cabinet has just a few scuffs (see pictures), and I’d easily rate this one as an 9-out-of-10. It’s working well with full power output. The RX on FM seems a little weak, but otherwise it’s receiving well. The tuner is in good working order. The radio has the optional YG-455C1, YK-88C1, and YK-88A1 filters installed. The sale also includes a heavy-duty AC cable, but you’ll need to supply your own microphone. The bottom line is this… You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be! Reception was able to receive nearby amateur stations (SSB and CW) in the 7MHz, 21MHz, and 50MHz bands. Transmission was at 7MHz. It outputs about 90W at CW and about 90W at 21MHz CW.

Kenwood TS-940S HF 100w Ham Radio Transceiver black JVC WARC Band Expansion. The lighting of the sub-display is changed to LED. The backup battery has been changed to a holder type, and replacement is easy. The attenuator relay was defective, so I replaced 3 of them together with the transverter switching. Adjust each VCO frequency. Receiving sensitivity (IF/RF) adjustment. S meter adjustment There are some errors depending on the band. IC meter adjustment (zero point, 10 A, CW 14 A). SSB/F time (2 tone) adjustment. Final base current/bias current Adjustment. Transmission output adjustment (approximately 7MHz 140W, tune 55W, open 10W). The sensitivity of the medium wave band has been increased. The auto-tuning is also working. The rotation of the cooling fan (power supply/final) has also been confirmed.
