Collins Radio Co Collection of 5 Units These units are in good overall physical condition. Please Examine the Pictures Closely – they more accurately portray the “item condition” than I can in words. There are some minor blemishes as would be expected with radios of this vintage, there are minor spots of oxidation, again… View the Item Images Closely! This is a one owner/user collection, the owner died (as people will do) and his son acquired them. I was told they were working when they were put in storage. They look like they would would power up and work. These units have not been powered up or tested, they have been in storage for a couple of decades. Due to their age it should be expected that some general maintenance will be needed. It is likely that most or all of these units would power up and work as they are, but proper care should be taken in initial examination and operation. All potential buyers are expected and assumed to understand ham radio, vacuum tube circuitry, and the nature of such electronics. As I have stated these units have been in storage for two decades with no maintenance – components like capacitors can dry out in this time period – and moving parts should be attended to properly.
