For sale is a Hallicrafters Hurricane model SR-2000 transceiver and matching P-2000 power supply that is in working condition. All electrolytic capacitors in the power supply and transceiver have been replaced along with new finals (8122s). The power supply puts out 1900 vdc on low range and about 2800 vdc on high range. The transceiver and power supply front panels are in excellent condition. The cases were repainted and are a close match to the original color. I have made several contacts and received good audio reports. Was able to tune up and receive signals on all bands. The fan is on the noisy side but this may be normal. I have wired up a Shure 444D desk mike and it is included in this sale. Transceiver puts out approximately 400 watts on low range and 900 watts on high range. Additional adjustments/calibration may be necessary. Power supply will be mounted on a wood base and double-boxed. The transceiver will be double boxed.
