This transceiver is in perfect cosmetic condition: a 10 out of 10 and from a non-smoker operator (you can see how clean the unit is by looking closely at the pictures included in the listing). However this radio does NOT power-up. This radio was NOT hit by lightning; it simply was operating fine one day but then failed to power-up the next. There was no smoke from the radio at any time. This may be something as simple as a dead lithium back-up battery or it could be something more involved.
