I have used and also tested on a service monitor to benchmark the real power out on each band (Not just what the Elecraft tells you its putting out, but that’s usually very close). The CW was measured on a Motorola R2600 and puts out the following power on each band. 40 Meters 1.3 watt (internal batteries), 4.0 watt at 13.8V. 30 Meters 1.3 watt (internal batteries), 3.6 watt at 13.8V. 20 Meters 1.0 watt (internal batteries), 3.4 watt at 13.8V. This includes the Automatic Antenna tuner, and battery cases. It includes the KX1, the original manual and binder (not a copy), and a Power Pole to Coaxial plug adapter that fits perfectly for external power! AA Batteries are not included.
