For sale is a broken Alinco DX-70T mobile radio with issues and minimal testing. This radio is part of an estate. I dont know the history of this radio. Looking at radio, I notice the Multi Function knob is not original. Its larger than it should be. I notice there is black tape holding the front head to the body. Possibly the radio head locks have issues, I did not take off tape to investigate further. Radio powers up and this Multi Function knob did not function. Something is wrong with that knob. I was able to get radio to dial around ok but dont know how to use radio, I was unable to get radio to change to all bands, only able to get 20 and 10 meters, possibly due to a problem or possibly since I dont know how to work this radio. When on 20 Meters, I hooked a wire up to the radio antenna port and heard a voice signal on 20 meters. I dont have a proper antenna and did not test transmit. Since I noticed the knob issue and dont know how to work this radio, I did not do further testing. Minimal testing done to this radio. This radio could have other problems I did not notice. Short power cable. NO EXTRAS – No extra cables, No cords, No remote head cables, NO EXTRAS.
