This Kenwood TS-940S is in pretty good cosmetic condition. The cabinet has some scuffs and scratches, but nothing more than what you’d expect from a radio approximately 40 years old. The main display is in great shape and the front panel looks terrific. As you can see in the pictures, the small sub-display has issues. The good news is that the radio is working well with great RX and TX. This unit does not have the built-in AT-940 tuner installed or any optional filters. Unfortunately, we did not receive a microphone with the radio so you will need to acquire your own. FCC COMPLIANCE: This equipment operates exclusively on ham radio frequencies authorized by the FCC (read the description above for specifics). It does not operate on CB frequencies or any of the 11-meter band. Regarding our packaging, review our feedback and you’ll find many positive comments. Obviously this is more expensive that the recycled banana boxes and crumbled newspaper many other sellers use, but it’s worth it. You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be!
