Up for consideration is a FT-102 HF transceiver and FC-102 tuner. This radio is from an estate. I powered it up. Let it idle for a couple of hours then tuned up on 40 meters. I made a DX contact to Ontario then I worked a pileup to W9IMS using a ham stick on a painters pole in the front yard. Radio is producing 200+ watts into a dummy load. I have hooked it up and played with it a few times. To me it is a very nice radio. The radio has minor scuffs as would be expected with a 35 yr old radio. The tuner has some more visible scratches on top, they may buff out. I’m not a cosmetic guy. The tuner seems to work, but with a resonate ham stick how do I know. The knobs generate a scratchy sound out of the speaker when operated, so I know it needs a good cleaning and lube of the pots. I’m located just outside of Bryan/College Station Tx and your welcome to come run the radio through it’s paces if you like. If you can find it on Facebook marketplace I have videos there of it receiving and transmitting. The item “Yeasu ft-102 and FC-102 HF transceiver and turner with manuals.
