This listing is for a Collins Pro Mark KWM-380 HF Ham Transceiver Revision J. The serial number is 968. By this point in production the service bulletins were built in, not added. You know enough about this radio to know it is an exceptional performer covering all HF Ham Bands. This was Collins’ first solid state Ham rig and their last Ham product. The receiver is general coverage, as you know. Cosmetically this radio is excellent. It does not have the usual chipping paint and damaged edges. Its only significant cosmetic issue is that the speaker grille is pushed just a tiny bit as is common with this model. It is tested, guaranteed working well, all bands, all modes, producing its specified 120 watts output power. My Bird meter is correct. Receiver is really sensitive and sounds really nice. I checked WWV and this radio is dead on, both upper and lower sideband. It comes with power cable. It has only the original factory filters installed. The display is perfect. Comes to you in very large box with molded foam packing. To be perfectly clear, I do want to sell in all countries where Ham Radio is legal. However, I will NOT, under any circumstances, violate any laws in order to do so. I do not sell “gifts” either. NO OTHERS WILL BE RECEIVED. I contacted the person from whom I obtained this radio and he clarified that one SB that is NOT present on this radio. This is the one that employs the added audio filter board to reduce frequency response of the radio. That alteration was intended to address what some users felt was excessive receiver hiss, a complaint that escapes me because tis one is no noisier than my more modern radios. It had been installed but the previous owner did not like the result (too much high frequency attenuation). He since lost the board.
