Here we have a clean, low mileage, well working IC-706MKIIG. Included is an LDG Z100 Autotuner that works well, a Motorola communications speaker that works well, the Icom stock mike that works well and an Icom fused power cable that works well. Let me tell you what I did to the radio. As all 706’s do this one got hot. I didn’t like that as it would shorten the life of the radio so I did the resistor mod and then I removed the small unneeded internal speaker to increase air flow into the radio. That worked very well. The radio now hardly gets warm. I will include the speaker and retaining ring should you want to put it back to stock. It’s a plug in. I hope you do not. The expansion mod has been done so 60 meters is an option. The two included filters are the Icom FL 100 CW and the Icom FL 223 SSB filters. The two everyone uses. The radio recognizes they are installed. The two Icom rubber pads are included to prevent shorting under the filters. They work as new. The original box for the radio and the manual are included. Both in good shape. Not new but no big rips or stains. As you can see in the picture the speaker is Velcro’d to the tuner to free up some desk space. You may undo that but I hope you do not. It works well like that. Also included is the Autotuner to radio data cable. You will have to provide the 2 foot radio to tuner coax cable with PL259’s on each end. The radio is in good shape with only a couple SMALL scratches and no scuffs or dents. The head is nearly perfect. All lights work and the screen itself is scratch free. Tuner knob is smooth as silk. Entire setup requires zero “fixing”. It is missing one small case/speaker screw. When I got this radio I was lucky as it was much better than I expected for an older unit.
