Icom IC-718 Radio Transceiver with DSP and CW Filter. From the pictures, you can see the installed UT-106 DSP/Notch Filter unit and the genuine Icom FL-52A CW filter. The pictures show the inside of the unit very clean – look at the fan and heat sink. This gets quite dirty in dusty environments – this one has always been in a clean, temperature controlled non-smoking environment. Never mobile or out in the field. Radio has been hooked up and in use in my shack for a couple of years now. There is gouge on the bottom of the case, but otherwise it is in pretty decent condition. From the meter you can see it putting out a little over 100 watts into a dummy load. Power cord and microphone included (the antenna tuner is not). If I can find the manual I will include it, if not it is easy to find and download on the internet. Check my feedback for any concerns. This IC-718 makes a great easy to use rig for beginner or someone with limited space. I’ve used it in contests occasionally and while not designed for this it holds its own on CW with careful adjustment of the RF gain control – I run the AF Gain almost wide open and control volume with the RF Gain.
