This KWM-2A, serial number 13511, is in amazing cosmetic condition. It’s literally just about perfect as I see no scuffs or scratches anywhere on it. The cabinet’s paint is original. Inside, it’s very clean and I see no signs of modification or tinkering of any kind. All capacitors under the chassis are original. All of the stock crystals are present. The unit does not have the plug-in relays or teflon wire. It operates well, but please keep in mind that this is a 50-60 year old piece of equipment and we have not done any sort of restoration. With that in mind, there’s always a chance there are some small quirks that need to be addressed… That’s just the nature of vintage electronics. It’s always a good idea to replace capacitors, check and replace tubes as needed, spray all controls with contact cleaner, perform a calibration/alignment to ensure it’s right on frequency, and address any other issues that we may have missed.
