The proceeds of this sale will be given to his family. Here’s a Icom 746 (non-pro) 160 to 2 meter transceiver. Lester was using it almost daily until he went into the hospital. I have had it in my station for the last 2 or 3 months and I have used it to make DX contacts both on SSB and CW with good reports. I haven’t tested it on 6 or 2 meters since I didn’t have a proper antenna available but I know that Lester did use it on 2 meter FM. The radio is in good condition except for the paint coming off of the tuning knob. Lester didn’t work CW so it does not have the optional filter installed. Comes with the Icom desk microphone. At one point, the metal plate that fits under the PTT switch has been re-glued. Please see the closeup picture of the area.
